I went the easy route on this year's Christmas cookies to decorate (because man, what a busy December!). Instead of making the usual Christmas-y shaped cookies, I made cookie sticks because they are a breeze to ice. Armed with edible pens, decorating them was also a breeze!

I baked 150 cookies Thursday night ending up with a bed time of 3:00 AM (because I just wanted to get them all done). The dough I made the night before to chill. I decorated/assembled the cookies Friday evening and went to bed at 12:30 am (not bad! 😄). Cookies were packed and given away, and my husband asked if I was making more cookies tomorrow. My answer was, um, no, I think I am cookie'd out! But maybe I'll make more cookies for the New Year. 😂
